This book is very comprehensive on the topic of the keto lifestyle, and in fact was the book that convinced me that this wasfaq the eating lifestyle for me. His explanations were so comprehensive and based in medical research that I could not dispute the effectiveness of this way of eating. He left me no choice.

He also includes a shopping list and Low-carb, High-fat recipes for Nutritional Ketosis. Basically everything you need to start your journey into the ketogenic lifestyle.

One of the great features of the book, that Jimmy Moore uses throughout the book are what he calls “Moment of Clarity.”

These are all quotes from the 21 experts that relate to the topic of the chapter and lend medical truth to the entire book. There are also numerous studies that are quoted and listed at the back. Basically, the medical evidence for the benefits of the ketogenic lifestyle are undeniable.

Knowledge is power!  with everyone on a new fitness journey and trying everything to lose weight, it is important that people know what are the right diets that are best suitable for their bodies and suitable for their level of physical activity. This books does look interesting and well put together so that people can educate themselves about this very popular diet. The key to losing weight is not just going on a low carb diet, there are many other factors that should be included when selecting a diet that is best for you.

Thank you for your review of KETO CLARITY.  It does seem to provide a lot of information that is not emphasized in all the media coverage of the diet.  I do tend to be more of a balanced-diet sort of person and while I am fond of fat and I do believe it plays a major role in keeping us humans functioning well, I have a tendency to avoid diets that focus too heavily on one element of diet over others.  Perhaps it is a better fit for those who are already out of whack, I don’t know….

      It’s just that the more I read about carbs, and what they do to every system in our body, I can’t get away from keto. Just my humble opinion.

I have been kicking around the idea of starting this diet and that book you recommend could be what I’m looking for to learn more.Did you happen to see anywhere where this diet is good for men over 50? Now that I’ve hit this milestone in life I find myself more aware of everything I eat.Just curious if there’s a chapter on what’s good for each age group.Thanks again, I really enjoyed your article,Ron

      I myself am 54, soon to be 55, and it has worked wonderfully for me. I have never felt better in my life, nor have I ever been in better shape. I am lifting weights 5 or 6 times a week also, so that is a contributing factor I’m sure.

  5. I should read this. I love to read and I love to eat healthy! This book is right up my alley. I’ve heard a little about Keto, but I haven’t really done the research to back up any of the claims I’ve heard. I like that there’s a M.D. behind the author’s words backing up the claims.
